Understanding Headline & Performance Measures - Self Learning
This is a self learning module designed for individuals who are interested in learning more about their school KS4 Headline and Performance Measures. Learning where the information is published, where the data comes from and how to calculate and interpret the figures available in your IDSR and the Compare School Performance website.
During this module you will go right back to basics, taking an in-depth look at all the key performance measures including:
- Attainment 8
- Progress 8
- EBacc
- Basics measure
- Student context data
You will also investigate what questions you can ask of the data in order to identify key areas of strength and development for the school and in turn, drive up improvement. With lots of tasks and practical activities throughout the session, you will learn the knowledge and skills required to review KS4 performance with confidence.
This is not a Sisra Analytics course and therefore, you do not need to be a Sisra user to participate. The workshop is suitable for all levels of attendee who wish to understand KS4 Headline data.
Recommended Audience: SLT, Assistant Headteacher in charge of Data, Middle Leaders, Raising Achievement Leaders, Governors, Data Managers, CEO’s.
